Meet Our Team
Allison
AJ’s Founder and Director Allison, opened AJ’s Hair Designs in 2001. She is a fully qualified Hairdresser and Barber at Level 3 as well as holding assessing and teaching qualifications. Allison is also Level 2 and 3 qualified in Beauty Therapy. Allison loves to create intricate bridal hairstyles and is always developing her skills through the L’Oreal and Wella Training Academy’s in London among other short courses. Outside the Salon, Allison loves to spend her time with her family, travelling and gardening.
Charley
Senior Stylist Charley is qualified at Level 3 in Ladies Hairdressing having started her Hairdressing career at AJ’s Hair Designs as an apprentice in 2016. Charley attended Partners 4 Training, Hair and Beauty Training Academy; where she developed a real passion for cutting and styling hair. On top of her Level 3 Qualification, Charley has attended several colour specialist sessions at the L’Oreal Academy, London. Outside of the salon Charley loves days out with her friends and family, especially shopping trips!
Charlotte
Charlotte joined the AJ’s team in Summer 2026 and brings a fresh and passionate knowledge of hairdressing to the salon. Having trained with Partners 4 Training, she has a particular love for blonding services and enjoys creating beautiful, bespoke blonde looks for her clients.
Thea
Our lovely Thea has recently joined the team at AJ’s Hair Designs as a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice, whilst training at Partners 4 Training. She is beginning her journey into the hairdressing industry, and we look forward to supporting her as she develops her skills, knowledge and confidence within the salon.
Jess
Our lovely Jess has joined the team at AJ’s Hair Designs as a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice, alongside her training at Partners 4 Training. She is at the beginning of her hairdressing career, and we’re excited to watch her grow, gain experience and develop her skills as part of the AJ’s team.
About Us
AJ`s Hair Designs Hairdressers in Eastbourne was founded in 2001 by Allison Faires, who is a qualified NVQ level 3 Hairdresser and Lecturer in both Ladies` and Mens` Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty and Therapy.
